Phill Appeared on The O'Reilly Factor

Attorney General Phill Kline appeared Friday night on The O’Reilly Factor with host Bill O’Reilly to talk about the latest developments in his investigation of child rape, failure to report child rape, and violations of our state’s late-term abortion statue.

“First it’s important for your listeners to know that women were never under investigation. Their identities were never sought. There will be no invasion of privacy,” explained Attorney General Kline. “But you can not enforce prohibition against late-term abortion without seeing the doctor’s notation regarding the evidence or the abortion that was performed during the procedure. We have obtained those records and in every single instance there was not a late-term abortion on a viable child to safe the life of a mother. And in every single instance there was not an abortion performed for a physical reason.”

O’Reilly revealed his show’s investigation of Dr. George Tiller had obtained records that showed the reasons for the late-term abortion.

“Our information says that on almost every medical sheet – and obviously we have a source inside here, it says depression,” said O’Reilly. “I don’t know if you (Kline) have that information or not, but that’s what it says.”

Amy Richards, co-founder of the Third Wave Foundation appeared earlier on The O’Reilly Factor in support of abortion clinics and Dr. George Tiller. You can watch both segments here: http://www.kcprovideo.com/kline/

Attorney General Phill Kline confirmed earlier this week his office is in possession of the 90 medical records subpoenaed from two abortion clinics as part of his investigation into alleged cases of child rape, failure to report child rape and violations of state's late-term abortion statue.

The records are being reviews by criminal prosecutors and investigators. Others crimes under investigation in connection to these records include rape by force or fear; failure to report suspicion of child sexual abuse (child rape & rape by force or fear); incest; making false information; and violations of our state's late-term abortion statue. This
investigation does not and never has involved crimes of "age-mate" sexual relationships.

The attorney general's full investigation includes more than 175 cases of live-birth records, abortions records, and DNA samples obtained through the Child Rape Protection Act.
